Comprehensive Persian Language Proficiency Exam introduction

      The Comprehensive Persian Language Exam is a standardized proficiency test that assesses four key language skills:

1.       Reading

2.       Listening

3.       Speaking

4.       Writing

 All students intending to pursue studies at Iranian universities must obtain a passing score on the Comprehensive Persian Language Proficiency Exam. The exam is scored on a 100-point scale. The minimum required score for university admission is 60. Candidates scoring 50-59 will be granted provisional acceptance & require to retake the examination.

The Comprehensive Persian Language Examination comprises two distinct modules:  
  I. Written Examination including listening comprehension, reading comprehension, & written composition

  II. Oral section including speaking proficiency

·          Three endorsed passport-sized photos

·          Copy of the passport's first page

·          Completed application form

·          Registration form download

Exam Administration Schedule

 

·          Frequency: Conducted three times annually

Exam dates are published via the Telegram channels of the Teaching Persian to non-Persian Speakers Office.
